Artless is a film production company which produces art-house short and feature films with universal themes, relatable to international audiences. It is also one of the very few film production companies in Romania to produce stop-motion animation.

The company is interested in contemporary, cultural and social subjects, told from an original or unexpected perspective with a strong auteur signature both in storytelling and visual style.

We believe that before being good, a film must be original first. In our opinion, originality doesn’t mean to reinvent the world, but rather to combine ordinary elements in an extraordinary way. It requires the courage to “cook” without a recipe and the result will always reflect the author’s taste.
