Logline

An animated short story about Lou, a suicidal fly, and how he found eternal rest in a bowl of soup. 

Synopsis

Lou, a very depressed fly, desperately wants to die. But he wants to kill himself with dignity and in best conditions. Therefore, he has two failed suicide attempts on a table in a French bistro. A bowl with soup is his last chance. Meanwhile, the curious and sarcastic burning candle Mephisto witnesses, encourages and makes fun of Lou’s depressive struggles, but only until she faces her own meltdown.
